The new year is a great time for you to think about getting a 24/7 web presence. The Chamber’s web site receives over 1200 hits per month. Let us help you create a Facebook page, a mini web page or a bigger web site for your business. Members who already have web site will want to enhance their visibility by purchasing banner ads on the Chamber's web site. We are setting appointments now and look forward to providing this new service for our members.
BUSINESS IDEA COMPETITION
Our Economic Development Committee is planning a Business Plan Competition. Entrepreneurs will be invited to compete to win “start-up” business services and support - to put into operation a for-profit business in Toccoa-Stephens County. If you have an idea for a business plan that you think would win please call the Chamber to learn more today.
VOLUNTEER IN THE WELCOME CENTER
The new year is also a great time to think about giving back to your community. Stephens County is known for its hospitality - and we need new, friendly faces - to staff the Welcome Center. Come make new friends - and help our visitors find what they are looking for.
COATS FOR KIDS
The Welcome Center is collecting new or gently used, warm, winter coats - to keep the students of Stephens county warm throughout the winter. Help us help our kids - by making a donation – the deadline is January 14th.
