Hello this is Wendi Bailey, your T-SC CoC President with your Weekly Chamber Update.

The next Irish Splendor Presentation is Thursday, May 9^th at 5:30pm in the Chamber Office. The Chamber partnered with Ionosphere Travel to organize an 8 day community travel trip to Ireland this November 13-20. The first deadline for savings is Monday May 13^th! Book now and save $250 per person. 

The trip includes 8 days and 9 meals and visits to Ireland’s main attractions. The fees include transportation to and from the ATL airport. Rates begin at $2,519 per person and we need your deposit now secure your seat. Deposits are refundable through June 14^thand the final payment is due September 14.

The 16^th Annual Chamber of Commerce Golf Tournament is Friday May 17^th at Currahee Club on the Jim Fazio designed Rolex World’s Top 1,000 golf course. The Chamber’s 67^th Annual Meeting and Awards Program is set for Wednesday May 22^ndat the Georgia Baptist Conference Center. Our Special Guest Speaker is Mr. Dink Nesmith, President of Community Newspapers, Inc. and Chair of the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia. We’ll award our outstanding members, and install our new Board of Directors. Call or come by the Chamber to make your reservation today.   

Finally Today from 5pm-8pm is a Block Party in downtown Toccoa with free music, dance performances, free food, give-aways and the NEGA Concert Series is hosting the Schaeffer Center tours. We’ll see you there!
